Nellie is the epitome of a team player. From the moment she walked in the gym at Crescent HS, she was willing to do whatever was needed for our team to succeed. She is a forever student of the game who never settles for average and strives for perfection. Any college will be lucky to have a player as dedicated to the sport and her team as Nellie Morton. Her presence on Crescent’s court will undoubtedly be missed.
Nellie is a necessity on the court; her drive, determination, dedication, and willpower push her above and beyond while allowing her to grow into new heights on a constant basis. She is the player who others look to in times of doubt or uncertainty, and her leadership skills ease the tension everytime! Nellie was a pleasure to coach and never missed a beat, I am one proud coach to be able to follow her career and see the plans the Lord has for her in the coming years!

I have been Nellie’s club coach for years now and she has been nothing but exceptional! Her determination to get the things she wants by working for them is inspiring. She never quits or complains. She’s a great athlete, but more importantly she is an amazing young lady. Her heart for others is remarkable!
